I usually don't shoot a lot of images during the summer because the haze on the mountains is not real desirable. So I thought. However, this summer I decided to chase the haze, which can lead to afternoon thunder clouds and tremendous skies. It has been a very busy summer so far--thus my absence from the blog. But I wanted to share these images with you. I have learned some post-processing techniques in which to help with haze and will enhance the final image.
One thing to do is to get to your destination early or late. Middle of the day is pretty much a no-no when it comes to shooting the mountains in the summer. It's that haze again that can get in the way of a great image. All these images were taken around sunrise and sunset.
